October 10th, 2009: A “Showcase of Story Tellers” will significantly mark the Open Day this year at all Smart Reader Kids® and Smart Reader Kids Junior® centres nationwide. The annual Open Day is an insightful window for parents who want to know more about the fun programme, the holistic curriculum and the creative learning environment. Little visitors at the Open Day gained a thrilling and memorable experience while parents were assured that their preschoolers are going to be in good hands during their early years education. Exciting and interactive activities such as “Storyboard” sessions, “Show N Tell” contests and colouring competitions had been lined up. Labelled as every child’s dream school, Smart Reader Kids® provides a holistic and fun-filled pre-school education for young children from three to six years-old. Smart Reader Kids® has been endorsed by The Malaysia Book Of Records as the Largest Chain of Child Enrichment Centres, with more than 280 centres nationwide. At Smart Reader Kids®, every child is seen as a special individual full of potential. Exposed to fun, creative and stimulating play activities amidst an exciting learning environment, Smart Reader Kids® students are nurtured to be expressive, articulate and imaginative children. Also available in the Mandarin medium, the curriculum comprises 11 subjects namely Smart Reader® English, Smart Bacaan™, Smart Mandarin™, Smart Maths™, Smart Computer™, Smart Music™, Science, Hygiene, Moral, Art & Craft and Kindercooking. The implementation of the curriculum and its programmes are based on the Smart Reader Creative Teaching Methodology®. Founded by Smart Reader® Worldwide Group Executive Director Dr K H Wang, the Smart Reader Creative Teaching Methodology® utilises fun and interesting methods in educating young children. Music, arts and crafts, games and interactive activities and role-play sessions are incorporated into the teaching methodology of every lesson. Its proven effectiveness has gained the thumbs-up of numerous satisfied parents who attribute their children’s excellent progress to the curriculum and syllabus employed by Smart Reader® Worldwide.
